Architect, painter, sculptor, graphic designer, G. De Cesario was born in Matino (Le) on 01/01/1956. Since 1989 he has been teaching design at the Liceo Artistico di Grottaglie (Ta). After years of research he managed to develop a very personal painting technique. A new style known all over the world, made of characters with clay faces in relief on the canvas that move on a chromatic background and full of squiggles. Particular are the female figures, characterized by sinuous bodies and a real eard pendant from one of the lobes. Today G. De Cesario lives and works in Gallipoli in his house-museum, called La Casa degli Artisti, which houses the permanent gallery of his works. He has also traveled the world meeting different realities and personalities of international culture, such as G. Forattini, E. Giustizieri, B.Costa, F. Mandrino, V. Ambra, S. Pepe, L. Consiglio, S.Altomare, R.Iannone, L. Cipparrone, G.Cascella, R. Gilliam, Max H. Sauvage, F. De Filippi and M. Cassisa. The frequent exhibitions of his artistic career have all been very successful with the public and critics.
