Our spacious and Pet-Bike-EcoFriendly R&B, called Tolasudolsa" (in dialect parmesan: take it easy), is located at 830 meters above sea level on the Parma Apennine.

We're immersed in nature, far from everything. The experience and the atmosphere will be very familiar with the pleasure of falling asleep in the evening, and waking up in the morning with the sounds of the forest, wild animals and the mountains. The traditional cuisine is homemade, genuine and we try to satisfy a type of tourism that is more respectful of the environment, economy and community, especially local (eco-cuisine, anti-waste, KM 0, self-production, etc.).

The main entrance is divided to enter into the ground floor, where live Valeria & Giorgio the owners, and the R&B located on the first floor. Here are the 3 simple, spacious and comfortable bedrooms, a large room for breakfast and lunches and the complete bathrooms that are outside the bedrooms but immediately next to the rooms. Some elements cannot be sanitized therefore you will hardly see them again on your holidays, at least until there’ll be a vaccine. Perhaps it misses a little 'atmosphere, but that does exclude that the rooms are comfortable and that you can not enjoy the silence and relaxation. The rooms have always been and will be even more so, simple and essential, decorative rugs and/or cushions have disappeared. During your stay you will decide whether to request a cleaning service or not, possibly to prevent other people from entering the room.

On the basement there is a bikes and motorbikes storage and a workshop that is managed by the owner.

In the square in front the house there is a private free parking available for guests only, and external space for barbecues and outdoor dining.

Inside of the house is no-smoking area. With Valeria & Giorgio live some beautiful cats that are free to move even outside so the presence of other pets must be agreed at the time of booking.

The owner are available, agreeing arrival time in structure, to hand over the keys so that the guests are independent and can return at a desired time.

WHAT TO DO - The area and the R&B are easily accessible from the main cities of the north Italy and the location is ideal for day trips to Lunigiana in Tuscany, to Cinque Terre, Sestri Levante and/or Chiavari all in Liguria for a day at the beach) to Parma and Bologna or to the castles in the area. It is ideal also for a day at the beach even in winter, in Parma and Bologna or to visit the Castles and Villages of the area. You can also practice sports like: MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO MOTORBIKE, TREKKING, TRAIL RUNNING, HORSE RIDING, SNOWSHOES, SLEE DOG, NORDIC SKIING AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING.

The area is renowned for the IGP porcini mushroom of Borgo Val di Taro, for the truffle of Valceno and for the delicious mountain gastronomy, with dishes that are influenced by the Parmesan, Ligurian and Tuscan.

NEARBY - The WWF Oasis of the Ghirardi, which is 5Km away from Tolasudolsa, is spread over 600 hectares of meadows, woods and streams. It is the home of several species of animals, plants and mushrooms; it preserves rare habitats, enchanting landscapes and it changes continuously as the seasons pass. Every day the nature reserve can be visited freely by foot by accessing from Costa dei Rossi (Albareto) or Porcigatone (Borgotaro).

The main towns, with museums, shops, cinemas, supermarkets, etc. are between 5 and 12 Km maximum
